June 1, 2026 – KOBE, JAPAN – ASICS is proud to launch the JETRAY™ ELITE soccer shoe, designed to support more speed to move body and mind. The shoe will be worn by professional footballer and ASICS Global Athlete Takehiro Tomiyasu ahead of the key global football tournament this summer.
The JETRAY™ ELITE has been engineered for the speed-focused player. Each element of the shoe has been designed for instant acceleration, giving players the confidence and support to perform at a higher level.
Experience Fast Acceleration: JETFRAME™ technology supports increased propulsion for faster acceleration. helps to increase propulsion for faster acceleration.
The JETFRAME™ technology uses a dual-density outsole to help physically shift the player’s body into a forward position, giving players a mechanical advantage on the pitch. By using a soft nylon in the front and a hard nylon material in the back of the shoe outsole, the technology naturally encourages the lower legs to lean forward. This tilt lowers the player’s center of gravity, allowing them to turn their body weight into acceleration momentum.
This technology is available in either a 5mm heel gradient (HG5mm) to promote a more forward-leaning posture compared to HG0mm, which promotes a level, neutral platform closer to the ground. By promoting a tilt in the body's angle, the JETFRAME™ technology is designed to enable the player to generate a faster and more powerful burst of speed when pushing off.
Flexible Stability: JETCAGE™ offers flexible support for smoother transitions.
JETCAGE™ provides a foam structured framework around the foot to keep it locked in place during agile movements. It is an integrated upper support structure with intentionally reduced foam around the ball of the foot. This encourages the natural bending motion of the foot, providing a smooth and continuous feel without sacrificing stability around quick movements, allowing a player to change direction or move from a standstill to a sprint.
Lightweight Durability: SILKYWRAP™ LITE upper material helps to make the shoe lighter and more durable.
The boot's upper is constructed with SILKYWRAP™ LITE, a lightweight material which provides enhanced durability over extended use. This high-performance upper material is designed to solve the trade-off between weight and durability. For speed-focused players, this balance of midfoot lockdown and effortless lightness is essential for agile movements.
